It is because of this belief that our partnership is with you - and not with insurance companies or Medicare, so we are considered both an Out of Network Provider and a Non-Assigned, Opt-Out Provider. Medicare does not reimburse for services we provide in our office; nor does any Medicare Advantage Plan.

Whether or not you'll need to visit a lab in person depends on the specific tests you require. Certain lab tests, such as blood work or imaging, do require an in-person visit to ensure accurate results. When possible we offer home test kits.

Your first visit will be thorough and last 90 minutes. You will meet with your care team including your nurse practitioner and clinical health coach. We will be ready to discuss the data from your health history and your current health concerns and goals. Based on this information, we will develop a personalized treatment plan with you.

Yes! We can complement conventional treatments. Many patients use functional medicine for chronic conditions and conventional medical care for acute issues. It’s important to communicate with all your healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach to your health.

No, we are considered a specialty practice. 

Yes, we offer telemedicine if you reside in NY or FL, or if you travel to one of those states for each appointment. If you are an international patient, you must travel for each appointment. We strongly prefer to meet you in person for your first appointment if possible.

We treat patients who live in NY or FL. If you are an international patient or live outside of those 2 states, you must travel for each appointment. We strongly prefer to meet you in person for your first appointment if possible, then we're happy to meet you in person or via telemedicine.
